We had a client with a gutter downspout extending down the side of a metal building, but the bottom of the downspout ended about a foot off the ground so that water flowed though, splashed onto the concrete, and seeped under the edge of the metal building.

We extended the downspout to ground-level and installed a kick out to direct the water away from the building. We also sealed the bottom cracks between the concrete and metal wall, and we installed flashing at the bottom of the corner post and sealed it with a special seal.
